Wedding shoot in Portsmouth

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting a blessing (they had been married the week previously in Cyprus) with my good friend Jon Mainwairing at Portsmouth's registry office for a lovely couple called Shenda and Marc. It was a beautiful day, The entire bridal party looked awesome and the sun was shining.

This was a really fun shoot and it was being held because the grandparents couldn't make the actual wedding in Cyprus which I thought was a lovely gesture on Shenda and Marc's part.

Jon and I took some really nice photo's that day and as always, I was proud to be part of someones big day.

After the ceremony in Portsmouth, we moved over to a restaurant called The Maypoll on Hayling Island which is where the the Wedding breakfast (although this was technically a Blessing breakfast, but you get my point) was being held. On the way we stopped for a short portrait session with the bride and groom by the picturesque Langstone harbour.

The cake looked simple and elegant, which matched the rest of the day

I really enjoyed the shoot, It was relaxed and fun and I personally wish Shenda and Marc all the best in their hopefully long future together.
